LAND AS PORTAL
๐ธ Theme: Land as Portal
๐ฟ What It Is
We donโt offer luxury. We offer stillness, presence, and return.
Liminal Residency is a land-based, slow-paced creative program that invites artists, writers, and seekers into rhythm, rest, and intentional expression.
Each 2-week cycle welcomes 3-4 participants into a private rainforest sanctuary to explore the land not as backdrop - but as portal. To ancestry, imagination, and deeper truths.
A Portal for You
There are moments when the land feels alive - as if it remembers you before you arrive.
In this residency, we approach land not as a backdrop, but as a presence, a living being, a mirror, a portal.
It opens pathways to ancestral knowing, inner quiet, and embodied creativity.
To cross that threshold is to enter a slower rhythm, where the land co-authors your process and redefines what it means to make.
Let the land lead. Let it speak through you.
๐ Is This for You?
We welcome applications from artists, writers, curators, and creative researchers whose practices explore:
Ecology & embodied presence
Ancestral memory or geomythology
Somatic, ritual, or posthuman inquiry
Slow, nonlinear, or process-based work
You do not need to be a โland artist.โ
You simply need to be open โ to land, to stillness, to the unknown.
This is for you ifโฆ
โข Youโve been stuck in productivity mode and crave a different rhythm
โข Your body is tired and asking for space to rest and reset
โข You feel a quiet pull - to slow down, reconnect with nature, and make from presence
Begin your day in quiet presence.
